Overview of Services:

Orders are placed through our website at www.stargazerkeepsakes.com. All custom options are displayed during the checkout process, and your piece will be created according to the details you provide. Any requested modifications must be submitted via email, prior to the product being finalized. Once your product has been started, no further modifications will be accepted. Our normal processing time is approximately 10-12 weeks, though this may vary depending on order volume, supply chain delays, or other factors outside of our control. Should additional time be required, you will be contacted with an updated completion estimate.

Stargazer Keepsakes is not liable for packages that are delayed, damaged, lost, or stolen once in the possession of a shipping carrier. DNA materials (including ashes, hair, preserved breastmilk, flowers, or other inclusions) will be safely stored and returned with your finished order unless you request otherwise. Any remaining liquid breastmilk will be discarded, as it poses a health and safety concern once expired.

We reserve the right to decline an order at our discretion.

Agreement of Sale

No binding agreement exists until a deposit or full payment has been received. Payment serves as acknowledgment that you have reviewed and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

All purchases are non-refundable. Stargazer Keepsakes does not accept responsibility for inclusions or jewelry that may be lost or damaged during shipping, or for losses resulting from natural disasters (fire, flood, storm, etc.), theft, or other unforeseen events beyond our control.

Refunds, Returns, Cancellations, and Exchanges

Every item is one-of-a-kind and reflects how your inclusions naturally respond during preservation. Shades, tones, and appearances may vary, and no two pieces will ever be identical.

Because all work is custom, sales are final. Once payment is submitted, no refunds will be issued.

It is the customer’s responsibility to send required inclusions promptly. If inclusions are not received within 12 months of purchase, your order will be closed and marked as complete.

Example: An order placed on January 1, 2025 requires inclusions to be received by January 1, 2026.

If there is a defect in craftsmanship, please notify Stargazer Keepsakes within 30 days of delivery for a repair or replacement evaluation.

Intended Use

Jewelry should be worn and stored responsibly. Small pieces can pose a choking hazard and must be kept away from children and pets.

Inclusions, leftover preserved materials, or returned milk must never be consumed. Spoiled milk and preservation compounds can be dangerous if ingested.

Pricing and Payment

Prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD). Shipping and applicable taxes will be calculated at checkout. International orders may be subject to customs duties or additional fees, which are the buyer’s responsibility.

Payment is processed through Shopify, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, etc. Alternative payment arrangements may be approved upon request.

Release of Liability

By ordering from Stargazer Keepsakes, you agree to hold the business, its owner, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or losses connected with your purchase. You further release us from liability for any issues, known or unknown, that may arise in relation to your inclusions, the jewelry-making process, or the finished product.

Jewelry Care Guidelines

Our jewelry is crafted from sterling silver and may also be plated with gold or rose gold. Over time, all metals will show natural wear.

To extend the life of your piece:

Avoid contact with water, cleaning chemicals, perfumes, or prolonged sun exposure.

Resin stones may take on a warmer or slightly yellow tone over time due to natural aging.

Sterling silver can be polished carefully but avoid applying polish to the resin stone.

Plated finishes will wear with use; most jewelers can re-plate pieces if desired.

Changes to Terms

The most current version of these Terms and Conditions will always be available on our website. Stargazer Keepsakes reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time by posting revisions online.

Governing Law

These Terms and all services provided under them shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United States.
